Delicious dish, awful name. Recipe posted per Amy’s request– great brunch addition!
1 pkg. (2.5 oz) processed ham
1 small onion
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese (cheddar can be used also)
1 egg
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 1/2 tsp. mustard (spicy or dijon)
1 pkg. (8 oz.) refrigerated crescent rolls or flaky biscuits
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Chop ham into fine pieces. Add egg, cheese, mustard, onion, and pepper. Stir to combine. Unroll crescent rolls and press into one large rectangle. Cut rectangle into 24 pieces. Place small spoonful of mixture into each section, and pinch closed. Place in a mini-muffin pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
